Young times.

Sandy, You were larger than life. Your Mum and Dad were great people and I will always remember going on holiday to Paignton with you and them when we were kids. We both had a love of the guitar and taught each other how to eventually play it properly. :)
I also remember when you first met Melody and she came to a Steam Jenny gig at the Bully Inn near Hamilton. I had my first car at the time and it was a snowy night. I remember driving Melody home with you that night. We thought we were going to get stuck in the snow drifts but we made it.

Your sense of humour was just brilliant. I remember Alex and Jean with their two boys at the beach one day. You and I were sitting on the sand and Alex was blowing up a rubber dingy for his boys. Alex was wearing a pair of speedo trunks which definetly did not look right on him.

He put the boys in the dingy and the dingy started to drift out to sea. I always remember you and I were rolling about in the sand laughing as Alex in his speedos tried to get the dingy back in. Everything was fine but it just looked so funny. You were the first one to notice the situation and when I looked at you, there you were laughing your head off, then you got me started.

You will always be in my heart and mind. You were a very "BIG" part of my childhood and I will "NEVER" forget you.

God bless you and all your family.
